This thread discusses the Content article: ADHD appears to be associated with depressed dopamine activity in the brain

The decreased dopamine levels may correspond to the areas of the brain known as the reward center. If dopamine levels can't be increased with medication, could an alternative be to cause more stimulation of the reward center? What is a feasible alternative?

Isn't risk-taking also associated with the reward center? Risk-taking does alter the chemical environment of the brain and may increase dopamine levels as a consequence.

Maybe do activities that stimulate risk-taking such as watching certain types of movies or being involved with sports?
