Well, if there isn't already enough reason not to smoke while pregnant, here's another. An abstract at the American Heart Association’s Conference on Cardiovascular Disease Epidemiology and Prevention reports that (from an AHA press release):

Women who smoke during pregnancy can cause permanent vascular damage in their children — increasing their risk for stroke and heart attack...
