The AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics) has come out with a policy statement in the March issue of Pediatrics on the risks of high-deductible health insurance plans that are becoming popular (see the press release).

I would have thought this would be a big deal in the press, but I haven't heard anything about it. I guess everyone is paying attention to the Walter Reed fiasco.

Scary to know that pediatricians work in the army too.
