My concern with retail clinics is that staff turnover will likely be high. It is also unlikely that the same health care provider will interact with a returning patient. Isn't developing a relationship with a patient important in delivering the best health care?

I don't have a problem with retail clinics to solve minor problems. It can be difficult and costly to make an appointment at a doctor's office or go to an urgent care center. And for a minor problem, it can be a waste of resources to use more traditional healthcare options.

Do you think that retail clinics could jeopardize family practioner's practices, as suggested in the article?
