Paramedics can address immediate needs (i.e. stabilize the patient) while transporting to the hospital. A strategically placed location in the stadium can address the needs of the population in a very short time-frame. More importantly, the stadium staff needs to be well trained in identifying people with possible distress symptoms so they can alert emergency personnel.
