I was amazed that 6.5% of people 18 or older have some form of heart disease - I imagine the number only gets higher as you restrict the study population to older groups.
It also reiterated the connection between poverty and health risks.
I wonder how well the "map" of heart disease corresponds to the map of obesity - and if the push in some cities to slim down will actually translate into reduced heart disease rates. I guess we'll keep an eye on Philadeplphia's plight.
